In June of 1993 in the middle of the night Minister Yvonne Sims was called as an Intercessor which she heard audibly from the Lord.
Minister Yvonne Sims , ordained July 7, 1995 as an Evangelist at Tree of Life Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Daniel Best (overseer) and Pastor Blake Mills. In 1997 Min Yvonne was assigned as Elder and assistant Pastor.
On November 15, 2000 Min Yvonne was consecrated to the office of prophet at the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in Arizona where she received much of her training and correction to walk in love and deliverance. Later God called her to another work now known as The Mercy Seat Ministries Inc;
Going back, born May 27, 1952 to Joseph and Bessie Sims. The sixth of twelve children. Growing up Yvonne, as she prefers to be called was a very sickly child but always managed to get her healing through the prayers of the elderly. It was once said that she would not live due to a severe case of chicken pocks at age five.
Minister Yvonne has gone from bad relationships, mental abuse to losing both of her parents by the age of twenty one. This led her to a life of despair and began to cry out to God. God answered her and she began to pray. As time went on she began to have a burden for souls and intercessory prayer became her way of life. This is what lead up to leaving her last job at PNC Bank in Philadelphia, Pa. after thirty three years of corporate banking. After much struggling with herself God called her off the job and called her to the nations to mentor prophets and intercessors. This led Min Yvonne to travel extensively across the country as well as her dream of going to the nation of Israel in 2007.
While being a single parent, the mother of one daughter, Ravonda De’Lisa Sims and called into the ministry of intercession at age thirty nine. Min Yvonne managed to be Youth director, at Saint Josephs Baptist Church from 1987 to 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Walter Thompson Philadelphia, Pa. Yvonne always sang on a choir at any church she attended at St Joseph’s as well as Wayland Temple Baptist Church as a youth and teenager. At a very young age Min Yvonne attended First Resurrection Baptist Church, along with her siblings from a toddler. Reverend Register was the pastor in Philadelphia Pa. She and her siblings alI sang on the children's choir. Always had a love for music. Now worship has become a way of life for her. Min Yvonne had solo parts in church, directed the choir at times. Led the praise and worship team at Tree of Life Ministries and at the present often attends Praise & Worship conferences to stay abreast of the seasons we are in.
In 2002 after much prayer and being properly released by her previous pastor the Lord directed Min Yvonne to what is now known as Bethel Deliverance International Church, under the leadership of Bishop Eric A Lambert Jr.
Currently Min Yvonne travels and teaches Prophetic Intercessory Prayer and as she often says tries to be obedient to God and submit to those that are her senior in leadership.
